My approach with clients is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep belief in their capacity for healing and growth. I offer compassionate, non-judgmental trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy to adult and adolescent individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, grief/loss, parenting, or relationship challenges. No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to face it alone.
I believe clients are the experts of their lives, and I strive to work alongside them collaboratively. I often work from an attachment-based lens to support clients who may be struggling with challenges in their relationships as well as child-caregiver relationships. I support clients in understanding their patterns in thinking, self-talk and behaviors from a trauma-informed lens, usually with a combination of cognitive-behavioural and somatic-based techniques, depending on the client’s needs and preferences.
I want to acknowledge how much courage it takes to seek support. Taking care of your mental health while navigating the everyday challenges of life isn’t easy—and reaching out can feel even harder. So, truly, I’m glad you’re here.
